The 1CONTROL can be expanded with a footswitch, offering even more options for saving sounds.

The question always comes up: Which footswitch do we recommend?

Here is our recommendation:

• The foot switch should be a switch with a latching function.
• Foot switches do not work.
• The input jack must be a stereo jack.
• It doesn't matter whether you use an LED or not; both work. However, we recommend the version without an LED, as the internal state of the 1CONTROL is asynchronous to the state of the footswitch for logical reasons. For example, if you press the footswitch in preset mode, it always loads the preset, regardless of whether the switch is currently turned on or off. However, the LED on the footswitch cycles. This can be confusing, so a footswitch without an LED is more sensible. The same applies to the footswitch on the AMP1 .
