What should I do if the BluBOX is noisy?
If the BluBOX is noisy at the BALANCED MIC OUT and at the LINE OUT, the input sensitivity is not properly set. In order to minimize the noise, the input signal must be optimally controlled. The 3-stage input sensitivity switch in combination with the clip LED next to it is used for this.
The switch should initially be in the middle position. The volume level of the input signal is then determined with the aid of the LED: if it lights up green, this signals that a level is arriving. If it lights up red, the maximum level has been reached.
You get the optimal sound and signal-to-noise ratio when the LED is mostly green, but briefly changes to the red area during loud playing or volume peaks. However, it should not glow red continuously.
If this is the case in the middle position, the switch can stay that way. If the LED lights up green continuously, the input signal is very quiet. In this case the switch should be set to HIGH. If the LED lights up permanently red, you should change to LOW.
