For over four decades, I have been deeply involved with guitar amplifiers – as a musician on stage, in the studio, and as a developer. During this time, I have seen many concepts come and go. Despite all the technical advancements, one thing has always remained the same for me: The standard for sound, dynamics, and playability is and always will be the classic tube amplifier.

Since its founding, BluGuitar has pursued a clear goal: to enhance the authentic sound, feel, and dynamics of classic tube amplifiers with contemporary technology in such a way that they meet today’s musical and practical demands – without compromising on tone. The AMP X is the result of over ten years of consistent research and development and represents the most far-reaching step in this evolution to date.
