How to wire the Looper Kit correctly
The Looper Kit has four true bypass relay loops into which you can integrate your effects pedals. If the Looper Kit is installed on the REMOTE1, you can determine which of the four loops should be active when creating your sound presets and save this information for each preset when creating presets.
The Looper Kit consists of an installation kit that is inserted into the REMOTE1, and a breakout box. The effects devices to be integrated into the setup are connected to the breakout box with jack cables (as short as possible). It has an INPUT, an OUTPUT and 4 SEND and RETURN sockets for the four loops.
Installation of the board in the REMOTE1
On the left side of the REMOTE1 you will find a small metal cover. This has to be removed, because this is where the Looper Kit is inserted into the REMOTE1:
Unscrew and remove the cover
First of all, please loosen the two screws with a screwdriver and remove the cover.
A look into the opening shows the 15-pin Sub-D connection on to which the installation kit is attached during installation:

Now the installation kit is carefully pushed into the opening. When inserting it, please make sure that the 15-pin Sub-D connector inside the REMOTE1 sits neatly on its counterpart.
If the kit is properly seated, the cover plate on the outside of the REMOTE1 closes neatly, and the screws can be reinserted.

The two fastening screws can then be reinserted and tightened with a screwdriver. The installation kit is now built into the REMOTE1 and offers a Sub-D connector for connecting the breakout box to the REMOTE1.
Connect the breakout box
The Sub-D plug of the breakout box can now be plugged on to the plug of the installation kit and fixed with the locking screw. The Looper Kit is now ready for use!
Integration of the pedals in the four loops
If the Looper Kit is installed, it expands the REMOTE1 to a pedal switcher with four true bypass loops. Depending on your taste, the effects pedals are integrated individually or in combination in the various loops of the looper kit and are all always switched on. With the help of REMOTE1, the loops can now be activated or deactivated. If a loop is activated, the signal runs through the loop and the effects pedals integrated into it. If it is not activated, the signal is routed directly in the looper kit to the effects units that are not in use (true bypass) in order to keep the signal path as short as possible. This minimizes background noise and loss of sound.
The combination of active pedal(s) and sound settings of the AMP1 can be saved as a preset and called up with just one footswitch.
