How can I control MIDI-capable external effects devices with the REMOTE1?
To control external, MIDI-capable effects devices with the REMOTE1, connect the MIDI OUT socket of the REMOTE1 to the MIDI IN of the external effects device and assign a preset of the effects device to the program change command sent by the REMOTE1 in the effects device. The program change commands sent by the REMOTE1 are fixed. The following table provides an overview of this (this table can also be found in the REMOTE1 operating instructions ):

Depending on the respective effects device, this is done by programming the desired effect for the respective preset number, MIDI mapping, or MIDI LEARN. In any case, make sure that your MIDI-enabled device is set to MIDI receive channel 2 to ensure error-free switching.
