When operating the AMP1 Mercury Edition in preset mode, the amp occasionally does not switch when pressing one of the three foot switches. The switch clicks and you can hear the brief mute that activates when you switch channels, but the switch settings don't change. Repeatedly pressing the switch then leads to switching - although sometimes you have to press the switch up to three times. The problem affects all three foot switches and occurs sporadically (every 6 switching operations on average).

This is a software problem that exists in all silver devices (Silver Edition to C03 and Mercury Edition to M05) from 2015 to 2020.

Once we have the resources to update the AMP1 firmware, the issue will be resolved. Of course, there will then be the option for a software update. Unfortunately, all of our R&D resources are currently focused on the AMPX project, so it will be some time before we can offer an update.
